Our services

One specialist team, two ways to work with us: as your white-label extended team, or directly with your deal team.

01

Offshore FDD and QoE support

For FDD and M&A advisory firms

For consulting and advisory firms, we provide outsourced, offshore FDD and QoE support from India on a white-label basis. We operate as an extension of your team, behind your brand, on an overnight delivery cycle. You send the target company data at the end of your day; we work on it during your night and return completed files before your next morning. Your firm reviews and presents the final work product to your client. This lets you scale Transaction Advisory Services capacity for any deal size, without adding headcount.

A formal quality check on every deliverable before anything reaches your end client.
Additional support: QoE model rebuild and automation, attendance at management calls, a QoE presentation in your template, and the document request list and diligence questions.
02

FDD and QoE advisory

For independent sponsors, VC firms and private equity funds

Velonix works directly as the transaction advisory team for private equity funds, VC firms and independent sponsors. We deliver QoE reports, FDD analysis and supporting workbooks straight to your deal team, with no intermediary. This is especially valuable for independent sponsors and lower-middle-market funds that need institutional-quality diligence on every acquisition but don't retain a full in-house diligence team.

A Quality of Earnings analysis restates a company's reported earnings to separate sustainable, recurring income from one-time or owner-driven items, producing a defensible adjusted EBITDA. In any M&A transaction, that adjusted EBITDA is the number buyers and lenders apply valuation multiples to, so it directly drives deal pricing.

Typical adjustments: revenue recognition aligned to the underlying contracts, owner compensation normalized to market, related-party arrangements such as rent reset to market terms, and one-time and non-recurring items removed.

What we test

  • Adjusted EBITDA: historical normalization and adjustments
  • Revenue quality, recognition and trend
  • Net working capital and peg
  • Net debt, including debt-like items and off-balance sheet obligations
  • Customer and vendor concentration
  • Proof of cash
  • Reconciliation to tax filings and payroll
  • AR and AP aging

What we deliver

  • Red-flag analysis, with financial and operational risk assessment and materiality evaluation
  • Buyer diligence question list
  • QoE report and supporting workbooks, buy-side or sell-side
Scope flexes to deal size: full diligence for larger transactions, targeted mini-diligence for smaller or time-compressed deals.

Financial Modeling

We build financial models from scratch, and we take over existing models that have become unreliable or hard to maintain. We also keep models current on the schedule your business needs: weekly, monthly, quarterly or per deal or project. A model can be an internal decision tool or a deliverable for your client, lender or board. We also automate the repetitive parts of modeling and reporting using AI and automation tools, including Excel scripts, VBA, Python and Microsoft Power Automate. That covers data refreshes, reconciliations, scenario runs and dashboard updates, so your models stay current with less manual effort and fewer errors.

Models we build

  • LBO models
  • M&A merger and accretion/dilution models
  • DCF valuations
  • Three-statement models
  • Scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Rolling forecasts
  • Board-ready reporting models
  • Executive dashboards for management reporting
  • Automated models and reporting workflows
All in clean, auditable Excel.
04

Fractional CFO, FP&A and startup advisory

A Fractional CFO is a part-time, senior finance executive who provides strategic financial leadership at a fraction of a full-time CFO's cost. Startups typically need one when preparing for a funding round, facing investor due diligence, or when financial decisions start demanding executive judgment. Velonix brings M&A and investor-side experience, so the financial story we build holds up in front of VCs and lenders.

What we provide

  • Fundraising preparation and valuation framing
  • Entity-structuring guidance ahead of a raise
  • Financial models with integrated projections, updated monthly against actual performance
  • Cash runway management
  • Board and investor reporting packages
  • Annual budgets and budget-to-actual variance analysis
  • Accounting practices that hold up in investor diligence
  • KPI dashboards with periodic performance reporting
  • Oversight of the monthly financial close
