Financial Modeling and model automation for deal teams and growing companies

Velonix builds financial models from scratch, takes over existing models that have become unreliable or hard to maintain, and keeps them current on the schedule your business needs: weekly, monthly, quarterly, or per deal or project. A model can be an internal decision tool or a deliverable for your client, lender or board. Everything is built in clean, auditable Excel.

Automation, built in

We automate the repetitive parts of modeling and reporting with AI and automation tools, including Excel scripts, VBA, Python and Microsoft Power Automate. That covers data refreshes, reconciliations, scenario runs and dashboard updates, so your models stay current with less manual effort and fewer errors. A senior professional still reviews every model before it reaches you.

Keeping a model current

A model is only useful while it matches the business. We update models weekly, monthly, quarterly or per deal, so figures stay accurate for management, investor and lender reporting. If you already have a model that has become unreliable, we rebuild or take it over rather than starting from nothing.

How we work

1

Scoping call.

We agree what the model must answer, who will use it and how often it updates.

2

Data and requirements.

We gather the data and context we need through a secure platform.

3

Build.

Our senior team builds the model, with automation where it removes manual work.

4

Review and handover.

Key assumptions and open points are walked through with you.

5

Ongoing updates.

Models continue on your weekly, monthly or quarterly cadence.

Case study: Building an Investor-Ready Financial Model for a Pre-Seed SaaS Startup

Case study

A US pre-seed SaaS founder had built a model that was workable as a first pass but would not have survived investor scrutiny. We rebuilt it from scratch as one integrated, live model: documented assumptions, three-statement linkage, burn and runway, deferred revenue and breakage handled correctly, and scenario toggles. Actuals feed in monthly and sit against forecast.
